Heritage objects connected by a gold thread from past to present

Our story

One feeling.
Many chapters.

Historical inspiration, family values and a modern Australian premium lager.

A continuous story

Legacy gives VYBE depth. Honesty keeps it real.

The journey moves through a wider South Asian history: East India Company rule, the British colonial period, Partition and the values that people carried forward when places, borders and circumstances changed.

VYBE is not presented as a centuries-old brewery and is not affiliated with the East India Company. The historical chapter provides context and visual inspiration; the beer and business belong to the present.

01

The feeling before the name

Some stories begin before the product exists.

VYBE began with a feeling rather than a label: the warmth of being welcomed properly, the ease of a table where everyone belongs and the energy created when people choose to share their time.

Those ideas became the emotional foundation of the brand. They guide how VYBE speaks, how the beer is presented and the kind of occasions the brand wants to support.

This is not a claim that VYBE is an old brewery. VYBE is a new Australian beer brand carrying forward values that feel older than the product itself.

Company rule and British India

A complicated history shaped routes, memory and belonging.

The British East India Company entered the subcontinent as a trading enterprise in the seventeenth century. Over time, commercial influence became political and military power across large parts of South Asia, changing the movement of people, goods, language and ideas.

After the uprising of 1857, Company rule ended and authority passed to the British Crown in 1858. Railways, ports and administrative networks expanded under British rule, but so did extraction, inequality and the disruption of communities whose lives could never be reduced to lines on a map.

VYBE does not romanticise colonial rule and does not claim a direct connection to the East India Company. This chapter remembers the people who adapted, protected their traditions and kept creating belonging even when history changed the ground beneath them.

03

Before and after Partition

When borders changed, the meaning of welcome endured.

In 1947, the Partition of British India created the independent nations of India and Pakistan. Borders divided towns, journeys and relationships, while millions of people were displaced and carried memories of home into unfamiliar places.

Against that upheaval, everyday hospitality became a quiet form of continuity. A seat offered without hesitation, food served with pride and conversation shared late into the evening could make a new place feel human again.

That emotional inheritance sits behind VYBE: not a fabricated centuries-old brewery, but a modern expression of courage, care and connection. The legacy is the open table, the welcome that survives change and the belief that a shared moment can help people belong.

04

Built on trust

Shared belief turned the feeling into an idea.

The strongest ideas rarely arrive fully formed. VYBE developed through conversations, honest feedback and the shared ambition to create something recognisable, welcoming and genuinely enjoyable.

Trust made room for experimentation. It allowed the brand identity, product direction and business pathway to develop carefully instead of chasing noise or rushing unfinished decisions.

That partnership mindset remains part of VYBE today: listen first, choose the right fit and build relationships strong enough to improve the product and the experience around it.

VYBE Premium Lager 330 mL bottle

Finding our beer

A clear product direction emerged through patience.

The beer began with a practical goal: create a lager that feels crisp, smooth and refreshing, with enough malt and hop character to be distinctive without becoming heavy or complicated.

Recipe development focused on balance from the first aroma to the dry finish. Carbonation, body, bitterness and drinkability were considered together so the beer could sit naturally beside food and conversation.

The 330 mL bottle, 4.8% Alc/Vol specification and cream, navy and gold identity brought the product and the brand into one clear expression: VYBE Premium Lager.

A modern Australian chapter

The story found its present-day setting.

Australia gives VYBE a setting shaped by many backgrounds: coastal weekends, city rooftops, backyard tables, hospitality venues and celebrations where different stories naturally meet.

The brand is designed for these real occasions. Premium does not have to mean distant; it can mean considered, dependable and good enough to share with confidence.

VYBE’s Australian chapter is still being written through product development, food partnerships, venues, distribution conversations and the people who experience the beer along the way.

07

The next chapter

Grow the brand without losing the feeling.

The future is about thoughtful progress: confirm the product, learn from real customers, support strong hospitality partners and expand availability where demand and service capability are ready.

Every new venue, distributor, collaboration and customer should experience the same essentials — a recognisable beer, clear communication and a brand that values the occasion as much as the bottle.

The story moves forward one genuine relationship at a time. Great Beer. Great VYBES. Good Life.

Now the story moves forward

Born for a new chapter in Australia.
